I would love to recreate this for my daughter. Where did stone rug come from? How did you stencil the wording?

I ordered the rug from Overstock.com! Item# 12952380. I find great quality rugs at excellent prices for my clients on Overstock. The trick is to buy wool. Can't go wrong with wool. It wears well and is naturally stain resistant. It will shed for some time though.
