Question on painting brick

Hi, I love how your fireplace is painted a different color from the wall. I have a fireplace surrounded by built in bookshelfs. I would like to set the brick apart from the white/off white shelves/mantel. My walls are shaker beige. Could you help recommend a color for painting the brick? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
