Colors are very personal. I don't believe in rules when it comes to what color is best for what room. So much depends on your taste, your style, the mood you are going for, what you're comfortable with, your fabrics and furnishings. Try some colors that you can pick up for a couple of bucks in the sample jars, paint out a large piece of poster board and put it up in your rooms, check it out in different lights and against different fabrics. If you're not comfortable choosing on your own or feel overwhelmed it may be helpful to have someone to come in and help with a consultation. Have fun with it!
