The surround is a custom fabrication of solid surface, in this case, LG High-Macs in alpine white. Simple for most solid surface fabricators. The skirted white acrylic tub is from Proflow a private label product distributed through Ferguson Enterprises (branches all over the US).

Is acrylic or fiberglass a better product for bath tubs?

Acrylic hands down. Fiberglass looks good for only 1-3 years, acrylic can look great for 20+ years if cleaned and maintained properly. I recommend Bath Brite for cleaning acrylic tubs and shower bases.
