I would like to use a transverse rod, preferably motorized. The problem is the soffit on the far right- It is only 1/2-3/4" above the trim of the window and overhangs it by ~2". The switches are on the left side, so I am thinking I should have center draw or right draw (the left door is the operable one of the set of French doors and my hot tub is right outside). The trim is knotty alder with medium stain, the doors are clear pine (imperfectly) stained to match. The accents are all black, so I would want a rod that is black OR can't be seen at all- perhaps covered with a cornice that matches my trim? The issue arose because we raised the floor in that room to be the same height as the rest of the house rather than sunken. I am very happy about THAT, but I didn't see the issue with the window coverings coming. Oops. Any ideas greatly appreciated!
