I need to buid some sort of roof over my patio.

12 years ago
My back patio runs the width of my house and is only 10 feet wide. Where I live the summer sun beats down on the back of my house for most of the day. I'd appreciate suggestions for some kind of roof I can build my self. I am no longer able to do framing work, bad knees and back. Please help with some light weight ideas for the back of my prairie style bungalow. I am on a very limited budget.
