Couch Dilemma... Lancaster or Maxwell Restoration Hardware

We are completing a model home and it is full of rustic charm, barn wood, exposed beams etc. Restoration Hardware offers a traditional couch with curved arms the Lancaster or the more masculine Maxwell couch. Both are great, but can't pick between them. The couch will be 8.5ft or 10ft long. Thoughts?

I would go with the maxwell. I have sat in both and I think the maxwell is more comfortable. Even though it has a square arm, the height is perfect for resting your head on a snow day with Netflix. The maxwell is also more transitional if you decide to change your look later on. The couch will last forever -- I have a RH leather chesterfield that is 12 years old. It is perfectly fine except the chesterfield doesn't fit in my new MCM house. It's on my list of things to replace, but it tears me up to sell a perfectly good couch.

Square arms are more modern - rounded arms seem more rustic.

I prefer a more rustic look so naturally I prefer the round arms, but it's your choice since it will be in your house.

Want to go with a Gray/Brown color and that seems the best choice. When stretched it appears to take on a brown tone instead of white (the Pewter color does this when scratched or worn)

I’m also buying a Maxwell and can’t choose between Brompton or Berkshire Leather? Husband likes the soft feel of Berkshire but I like the shiny wax look of Brompton. Anyone have any feedback ?! Thanks!

We ended up choosing the Maxwell and I️ love the Bromton leather. It holds up well and is very durable
