We are buying a house with a kitchen that is a disaster. The kitchen sink is on a wall with no window, but the opening in front of it has no cabinets. It looks like maybe a design flaw, there should have been a cook top with a huge vent in the space? However, there is an oven range further down, so not the case. Other than cutting out the floor and moving it to the island, any suggestions with what to do with this crazy set-up? Add a cabinet in front of it? Hate the idea of being at the sink looking at an empty wall. We will be remodeling the kitchen down the road. Just looking for a temporary fix.
