Yep...tao super white glass tiles. If it makes you feel any better I ordered about 10 different samples from that website before I made my decision! Ha ha! I also like the Tuscany pattern that has some larger tiles mixed with the smaller. Just remember if you use glass tiles use white thin set/mastic not a colored in case it shows through.

I have grey countertops and grey backsplash ... it is on my "to go" list. I find it brings no warmth to my kitchen and because it is always dingy, it makes me feel like I can never get it clean enough. It's like I'm always trying to wash the color off. I loved it for the first five years, but now it is cold and depressing. If your walls will be grey, I would not go with the same color for the backsplash unless you are going to do this every time you paint.
I love the white longer tiles or the random sized tiles. In my bathroom I picked the lightest and least amount of color from my floor tiles to pick the tiles for my shower. My floors look less dark and it just pops! The white tub like your cupboards stands out and looks gorgeous! Your kitchen is so beautiful, it would be pretty hard to make it look bad no matter which decision you make. I would make sure that it is a shade of color that appears in the granite. It will bring that color out like you wouldn't believe and I'm surprised no one has mentioned this before. We can't see the exact shades on our monitors so I hope this tip helps.

I am no designer, but are you not in the least tempted to pick up the wine color that is in your granite? I have seen it I the yards and really liked those wine colored "dots" BTW, I have been told that granite will be no more as whoever it comes for has been mined out. Good luck with your splash.

Lia, check out Susanjablonmosaics.com. Susan and her daughter Emily are great to work with, and will custom design for you. I had them send me samples of tile I liked online, then was overwhelmed by the choices so I emailed them pictures of my cabinets, counters and flooring, told them the color choices I liked- and they sent me custom mosaic mixes fixed on mesh backing. Emailed them some ideas for tweaks (as vague as "I want the overall feel of this mosaic to be less in the gray family and more cream") and hit a beauty on their second mailing of samples to me. They are magic!

Yes! beveled. It will add depth and not have a flat surface.
It will add texture.
Nice tiles . I like the density .
The grout colour in the Needham kitchen appears to be self same grout as to the tile colour.

Do you think the beveled tiles are ok with my raised panel cabinets? ...Also which of the two tile do you think is more modern? i am trying to make the kitchen look a little more modern (not too modern as it doesn't match the house) i have attached my breakfast nook and family room.. again I GREATLY APPRECIATE YOUR IDEAS!!!

i just installed a grecian white backsplash than may look nice

I say yes to the white/light colour grout.
remember, the beveling will cast shadows
as seen in this reference pic ( tile arranged differently but resulting shadow images the same)
if the grout was grey it would appear even darker

I like the brownish gray (second from left) and I like the tan (2 medium tiles) under the 3 gray glass. There's a lot of glare from the under counter lights, but on my monitor those blend the best. It would be helpful to see a picture of the tiles directly on your granite.

I like the grey (2nd from left)! Be sure to go with a a white grout. It will look awesome. Did you happen to see a 2#4 grey glass tile?

I like the dark gray, also.

Just a thought, why go for tile, you could consider a solid glass splasback, you can either paint the wall or the back of the glass. It looks amazing and is very easy to maintain. H x

The backsplash is perfect! Contrasting, yet complementary. That's exactly what you want with a backsplash. You should find the color of the smallest amount in the the countertop, if its in there, it will come out. Nice choice with the subway style. We love it!

Your kitchen has all it needs to make it a showplace. A simple ceramic tile backsplash would suit your kitchen well. We are thinking a subway pattern. A muted gray & beige color palette would be ideal. See picture.

Jessis is correct. Your backsplash needs to have gray in it. The yellowish beige is not jiving with the countertop colors. Yellow and gray are not complimentary colors. You need a darker gray to ground the muted colors of the countertop. A dark gray subway glass would be ideal. You could also use ceramic tile, but go darker.

This will enrich the space, grounding the countertop and the cabinets colors. The first rule of design is contrast. This will cement the whole design and make it cohesive.
