Stool height.

I have a 36" counter with a 12" overhang that I want to get stools for. I like the stools and I think I want to go with something similar in height (30"), but most websites suggest the lower counter height stool (24"). What was your thought process for using the higher 30" bar stool with what appears to be a 36" counter?

I would also love to know the answer to this as I too have a 36" counter and would like to consider the tolix 27 1/2 inch stool - I currently have 24. Did you ever get an answer to ths question? Thanks so much!

Hello, I believe the Tolix counter stool is 25.75" tall. If you have a 36" counter I would probably use the Tolix counter stool, otherwise it is difficult to get legs underneath the countertop. In the case above the countertops are higher than 36", think they were more like 37" or 38" because one of the clients is tall and 36" was too low.
