Rebekah, can you help me a bit with fixtures? My home is under construction and the builder needs my plumbing fixture choices. I'm stumped on flooring and countertop color and material and so these questions are putting some pressure on. My cabinets are Kraftmaid Amhurst Hickory - Praline. My door hardware is all ORB. My kitchen is has a wrap around counter height bar and the home is an open floor plan to the dining and great room. My dining table and corner cabinet are honey oak. I am considering a sofa in sage green. I have considered running carpet from the great room into the dining and then using a porcelain tile in the kitchen. My fireplace is Dutch Quality Pennsylvania Ledgestone with hand hewn beam mantel. I would like something that doesn't show every little thing but, also want to avoid making the space look too dark. My doors and trim are all oak (solid doors), none of the woodwork will be painted but the window facings and grills are white to the inside and the wood trim will match the cabinets. My bathroom vanities are also Hickory Praline and the toilets, showers, tubs are all bisquit. Light fixture in the DR is leaded glass but most lighting has some ORB. Can you suggest kitchen/bath plumbing fixture color? And Kitchen counter and tile flooring mfg/color? Can you tell I'm nervous? LoL, thanks!
