Hi Houzzers! We are overhauling our Family Room, which extends into the nook and kitchen. Rooms have been painted and furniture is on order for the FR. Wood floors are being refinished this week.
I have been looking and looking and cannot make a decision on a rug for under the table in the nook. I need 8 x 10.
The nook area is about 8x13. The current rug we have is 8x8 and is too short when we extend our table out (which seems to be the way we keep the table these days).
I'd like to try to keep the nook rug reasonable as our dogs love to lay under the kitchen table so I don't really want to spend $1k - $2k+ on that rug if I can help it.
I've included pictures of the rug we have on order for the Family room and a couple pictures of the nook area. Please disregard the FR chairs & table as they will be replaced. We are keeping the kitchen table/chairs and the dogs =)
The floors will be restrained pretty much the same color - Special Walnut. The FR walls are BM Indian River; kitchen is BM Revere Pewter. Granite is Tropical Brown.
Any and all suggestions and assistance is more than welcome. I really need to get the rug ordered/bought this week.
