I'm planning a classic white kitchen in our 1930's Evanston, IL home. We love the look of marble, but need something more resilient We're thinking about doing Cambria Torquay counters with white inset cabinets. To add some warmth, we're considering Ann Sacks subway tiles in Dove, Crackle Flannel, or Crackle Smoke. I am so nervous because this is a huge investment and we're selecting the finishes on our own....if any of you have an opinion about the combo of white cabinets, Cambria Torquay counters and a muted earth-tone tile, I would greatly appreciate it!

We're planning a walnut breakfast bar along one perimeter, as well...

Thanks in advance - there are so many great designers on Houzz!
