Hey Everyone!

I Recently moved into a loft where I am implementing an industrial style decor. It is a one bedroom open concept loft with a fairly generous living area & kitchen where the flow then transitions into the bedroom off the kitchen. Most of the walls are beautiful exposed brick original to the building, yet too I do have some drywall space. Each respectively is a potential spot to hang a 24" wall clock. The first potential spot would be on a brick wall above my desk. A nearby overhead light fails to illuminate the space adequately. To compensate, I converted two antique train lanterns into lamps as well as hung a caged shoplight with a vintage lightbulb. Here lies one problem as midway from the floor to the ceiling (roughly 14' ceilings) sticks out a 1920s water motor alarm, which is a permanent fixture. Despite being cool and chic, it is off center and stirs the pot taking up valuable real estate as my desk is placed between the two windows below. My concern here is that hanging the clock in this location not only detracts the inherent character by covering up the brick but also clutters the space. Moreover, since I have a 23" monitor, the clock would have to be hung above the water alarm. Second location is a sidewall which is shared as a transitional space by separating the kitchen and bedroom. There is a third potential location in a fairly undesirable space along the same wall on the opposite side of the window from the desk. The area is kind of funky as the cabinets do not run all the way to the wall just stopping short. From the wall to the end of the cabinet measures 20" & from the window pane to the corner measures 27" making the clock a tight squeeze. I am leaning towards the "hallway" off the kitchen. Any thoughts/opinions are appreciated. TIA
