What carpet is best for basement stairs, halls and rooms.

12 years ago
We are currently removing carpet to our basement, laundry and rec room. We are addressing any water problems and then will be installing an insulated subfloor. I need to select new carpet and need something durable, comfortable and practical. The rest of our home is mostly hardwood but we live in a very cold winter climate and need warmth downstairs.
