Master bath floor tilng question

We are putting down rectangular floor tiles, about 12 x 24. They will be staggered like a brick wall. Question is whether the tiles should run parallel to door threshold or perpendicular to it. Room is pretty much square. If perpendicular to the door threshold, will be parallel to the vanities. thanks

Running the long edges parallel to the door will have a very pleasing visual from outside the bathroom. You will need to centre the whole thing based on the first tile that is in the doorway. A professional should have no problems working this out. There might be more cutting because of this...but that's why we pay them the big bucks.
