I would keep the white bedspread - it looks pretty, and I like that it is highly textured and looks luxurious.

Maybe all you need to do is remove all things purple, place some Euro shams on the bed, and add a coordinating lumbar pillow in front of them.

You could do patterned Euro shams with a plain but textured lumbar pillow, or do the Euros in a solid and have a patterned lumbar pillow.

Have you considered getting a headboard?, this would be a nice way to finish the look, and establish the bed as a strong focal point.

Also, you could lay a dark colored throw across the foot of the bed - maybe a medium to dark brown? Or gray?

I would throw in some yellow with that wall color. It will brighten up the Silvermist.
