My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

    You can buy large pieces of butcher block at Menards and Lumber Liquidators. That's what the piece in your photo looks like.

    I love the look of this table but I have to say that a lot of useful storage is lost by the open bottom-could there not be a compromise between the simplistic and the functionality?
