Help my porch!!

This porch is huge and has ceiling fans. But, the colonial columns need to go. Also, the door is side facing, advice on whether to relocate? House sits in center of about 2 acre lot, and we plan to paint the brick grey, or griege, with crisp white and black accents.
How can this porch become fabulous?

I think with a tear off of the entire gable porch and utilization of the left side windows to establish a new entry, this look could be pretty for you.

Research brick staining instead of painting. It may be pricier up front but cheaper & easier in the long run.

Decoenthusiast, I forgot to mention that the driveway is on the right as you look at the photo, and there is a walkway to the porch.

I think that's the layout for the one I posted too. Garage and drive are on the right with the porch on the left. Did you mouseover to enlarge the pic? I think it could be a lovely solution for you.
