Thanks! We are building right now...do you know if it's cheaper to buy the hardie board already painted like you did, or to paint after?

So what color of Hardie is this? Is the trim arctic white? Thanks!

@kimberly22 - I am unsure on pricing. I'm sure it would depend on a number of variables. I do know that the James Hardi Color Plus has a lot of great benefits vs painting though, such as:
    • Color consistency and quality of factory application
    • Professionally developed color palette
    • Specially formulated paint to retain color and resist fading
    • Baked-on color process for maximum durability, provides a mar-resistant coating and
assures the finish will resist peeling, chipping and cracking
    • Color matched touch-up kit and caulk to ensure a finished home
    • 15-year finish warranty from one reliable manufacturer

I would like to know if the siding was install before walls were raised, or after? Here in Michigan we usually install siding while the walls are laying down as opposed to when they are already standing. I plan on building a home and currently in planning stages and would like to use this product. Any info would be greatly appreciated
