We are redoing our kitchen due to an insurance claim. The flooring throughout our open concept will be redone, new kitchen cabinets & new countertops.
The flooring we have chosen is by AIMES, called evolution “mica” 6 x 24”. The 3 tiles shown in the picture are all the tile samples that are used in the install of the floors. The kitchen cabinets are shown in the kitchen display we have attached (the darkest sample) which the colour is called “Thunder” by kitchen craft.
We have not chosen a countertop as of yet as we have now decided to upgrade to granite or quartz. The name of the granite we liked was Alaska White, however we have not made a decision on. You can see in the picture the slab of granite with the flooring. The sample color of the cabinets is there as well.
As far as the blue paint chips – it was just used to see what colors would look good with the tile when we were deciding on it. We have not decided on a color as of yet. Green / beige / browns also looks very nice with the tile & also the granite slab. (The slab has greens as well as blues, beige, browns & whites).
So, we would like your opinion – well I would! My husband is not happy as our true love was tile that looked like wood. Unfortunately, the budget we were given by the insurance company was not enough to purchase a nice looking wood tile. And with 1200 sq ft of tile to replace, the extra 4.00 a sq ft was out of our budget with all the other extra’s we are having done.
We were just notified the tile is now on back order and we could cancel if I get enough “Hate the tile” comments, we will go back to the drawing board.
