What to do with this bare wall??

I would love some input on what to do with this bare wall in my apartment.
The facts:
1. It's a rental apartment which means no paint or wallpaper. I will be able to put one hook in the wall.
2. It's a combined lounge / dining and quite a compact space.
3. I'm thinking of a mirror - but should I use something in timber, coloured or white? I had thought of a round mirror to match the roundness of the tub style chairs on the opposite wall (the ikea Stockholm mirror).
I have included some photos of the rest of the room.
Any and all advice appreciated!

When using a mirror it is best to put it over something such as a console, sofa, fireplace mantel, etc. A mirror would look lost on that wall. Did you ever think of putting the sofa on that wall and hanging something over it: painting, vinyl decals, or a mirror? You could move your TV to the opposite end of the console and put the two club chairs in front of the window with a smaller/shorter table between them. It would make for a cozier, more intimate sitting area. I have used decals in a floating frame (2 pieces of glass) and on painted canvas. What about a huge vintage reproduction poster in the colors of your rug of a subject you like? Postercorner.com has a lot of unusual affordable vintage posters in smashing colors in many subjects.

Thanks everyone. That's a good point about the mirror being lost without a piece of furniture to anchor it. I hadn't thought of decals but will look in to it

great ideas from others but first I would tweak the furniture placement a bit. Pull the rug forward so just the front legs are on the edge of it. Bring the white chair forward a little bit so it doesn't look shoved in the corner. The white table looks too high for those chairs unless you use it for dining, in which case I would angle the chairs into it. The art work is hung too far apart. try some different arrangements like stacking it or angling it closer together. Then the empty wall will not look so massively blank. Good start Good Luck

I would put the couch on that wall. Move the tv to the left end of the bookcase and turn it just a bit so you can view it better.
