Paint color

Hi all! Looking for suggestions on paint colors. Would love a more cohesive feel. Leaning towards sherwin Williams antique white but worry will look to plain?

I think green is a hard color for everyone to pick out, as it is heavily influenced by the type of lighbulbs/lighting that you have in your space. It is hard for me to determine from your pictures, as some of them are a little dark.

I would suggest taking home a few of the paint "tester" cans that you can get at home depot, lowes, or a paint supply store and testing out whatever colors you choose prior to actually painting your whole wall. Live with the samples for a few days and get a feel for which one you respond to the best

Guilford Green HC-116
Fernwood Green 2145-40
Hollingsworth Green HC-141
Healing Aloe 1562

blue-greens:
Woodlawn Blue HC-147
Palladian Blue HC-144
Wythe Blue HC-143

The Natural Linen color is an excellent choice too; I've used that before and it looks lovely. It is a bit more neutral and will be significantly different from what you have.

How about a warm color from the curtain print or the printed pillow on the sofa? Or a lighter shade of the tile decoration above the breakfast bar?

What if you ran a chair rail (like what you have near the dining room) around the wall- put something in the green family on the bottom and a warm white on top?

@Apple_Pie_order I love the warm cream color from the curtain but I am worried it will blend too much with the cabinets?

@Genevieve Not sure my husband will go for it but I think it is awesome--would you do that all over? We are thinking of doing the dining room/living room the same and then since not a lot of wall space in kitchen doing a bolder color like that.

I don't think you can go wrong with Natural Linen from Benjamin Moore. It's my go-to neutral as it works with all styles (contemporary and traditional) and is not too yellow or green. It's beige but not boring and every time I use it on a project, even the painters comment how much they like it! Good luck from Montreal!

@ Rebecca I really like that color! I think it will lighten the place up- we only have two front windows and the afternoon sun is blocked by a massive tree in the front yard.

@New England- thanks for the suggestions! I will look at those. Definitely will bring home samples, made that mistake in the laundry room. :)

Then I think it is a good choice for you. In the evening it has more character and depth too so it won't feel too light in the space.
