This house looks like a diamond in the rough! It has the potential to be a cute cottage style home. I like the chimney with the rough peeling white paint - adds to the charm. The good thing is that it is symmetrical for the most part (although the front door is slightly off center - and what is that square hole, a window?). If you are going to paint it a neutral beige (although you might consider a creamy white or pale sage green), then I suggest a bright color for the front door - perhaps a red or cinnamon. You should try to 'build out' the front entrance by adding a small roof supported on posts or at least an awning (both would be functional -keep rain off front step, and aesthetic - adding more dimension). This can also "widen" the front entry, making it a focal point. Also add a pair of outdoor lights on either side of the door for balance and to light the entry.(see inspiration pic I found on BHG). Add black address numbers to the front door or on one of the posts. Unfortunately you don't have room to add shutters to the front windows, so I think adding window boxes with plants and flowers tumbling out will pick up the front door color. You could paint the window box the same color as the door.
Keep plantings in the front garden limited to low bushes so you don't obstruct the windows - and again, bright flowers. Line the front walk with simple ferns or low clumping flowers such as lavendar. You could even add a low white picket fence across the front behind the curb. Best of luck with your flip! show us your finished product.
