The walls are the same color, the picture may make them look different.

don't do dark - furniture would fade into floor. I would not like a stain color with a lot of yellow in it with your wall color.

I would recommend first deciding on a theme which is a design style and concept, i.e. Asian. Once a theme is established, elements you integrate into the room should support your theme. Your color scheme also should be complementary to the theme of the room. The rustic style relates to a mountain theme which is mere casual, represents moderate to heavy furniture with coarse fabrics and textures. The rustic concept sounds adventurous yet the setting you have in the photo does not lend the support of the style. The color of the sofa you're looking to integrate may be compatible, yet the style of the sofa and chairs must be factored into the theme as well a the size of your space. The white faux of your window treatment will work well into your space. The wood stain of your furniture may be chosen to complement the other elements in your plan, i.e. wall treatment & trim, window blinds, flooring and gray furniture.
