Funny about this story. I commented that although everything in this space on its own is exquisite, the best thing for me if it were mine would be stepping outside!
There were quite a few negative comments about it, then a few people started saying how they loved it and from then on everyone gushed over it's beauty. Interesting.

I agree boomers, some say yes, then others sway, or they do a quick decision. I could sleep there, as in hotel room. Like i said, longterm? it would be hard for me in many ways. but that is why i put it up. I do like it in its own way.

I just find our reactions fascinating. many of the rooms i thought were not a big problem, others found horrendous. Like i did not know how many hate green?

I think it is beautiful! But could I live there? No. My minimalist soul would shrivel up and die under the visual onslaught of too much stuff. But it is beautifully put together, and the colors, finishes, and furnishings make this a jewel box!

That's my mother-in-law ' s place and no I wouldn't live there. JK. It's not really her place but her stuff was similar. It was way too fancy and stuffy and we did not even like to visit.

Way too much black, with the right colours such as neurtrals, it will make a very good room especially with such a nice fireplace- I would change the picture frames and furniture too.

The room is too dark for my taste along with it looks like a museum and I would be afraid to sit down or touch anything!

It would be a great part time get away. Unfortunately I have the same issue. It's not wheelchair friendly. It looks like a great place to hide with a book on a cold day.
