My builder uses Houzz Pro to plan the timeline and give detailed estimates and daily updates with photos of progress, and provide invoices at pre-agreed key points in the build. This made the whole experience much more efficient and stress-free.

The counter is Danby Marble, from Vermont. It is somewhat similar to Carrara Marble in that it is basically gray and white but it is warmer because it also has some beige veining. It shows some crystallization, which Carrara does not. We chose it for its warmth and because it is much more locally sourced than Carrara. It must be sealed to resist stains.
