Zaz, your household has really been hit with all kinds of issues in the health dept. With any luck you have already had all that is out there to get and when they are done it will be over. Sure am missing those beautiful florals you so artfully put together. Feeds my soul. Thank You so much.
Lia, from what I have read DOGE started with the people that were "Working From Home" to see who were or were not really working. In one large bldg. in D.C. only 6% of the staff was coming to work. To save their jobs they were ask to write 5 things they did in the last week -- very few could answer that question. When told to report back to work, most were a no show. One guy was seen on a zoom meeting from his bathtub. When those tasked with a job, either don't preform or are incompetent, it leaves the burden to those who are the most able. No corporation could suffer such a staff.
Can't wait to see these folks in the private sector where you actually have accountability and performance measurements. Plus, many of these people were working a side hustle and collecting two paychecks. Nothing fair about that. Best give the jobs to those who want to work and I'm sure there are plenty who would love the pay and the gov. benefits.
Trust me, I'll suffer the lack of a phone answering, just so they can kick the dead wood to the curb, for the added benefits of more competent people down the road and lord knows a huge cost savings. So much waste -- it is sinful. I don't want to be helping fund their idleness.
