This is the hot HGTV look and think it will be dated in a few years. The very high contrast has the eye jumping around. The eye doesn't focus/rest on one spot.

Yellow is interesting option that we didn't discuss. I would have to look at roof again to see how it works but a super friendly, happy color.

This is another HGTV combo with super bright white trim, lots of contrast with taupe/grey siding, but at least uses color to direct the eye to the front door. I would love this with a creamier trim. Flowers and landscaping shows up beautifully against the neutral background.
