My husband and I can't say enough good things about Gairdner Design. You helped us organize our dreams and aspirations, translate them into drawings, and set a plan in motion. You then managed contractors, budget and timeline with exceptional skill. Working with a designer was a first-time experience for my husband and I and we approached the project with some trepidation. From our first consultation with Christine, all of our concerns were put to rest. Christine is a true delight to work with. She is professional, honest, and a great communicator. She listened to our ideas and incorporated them into her own vision, resulting in a magnificent space that feels 100% us. Christine transformed our worn kitchen into a beautiful space that truly reflects our personalities and the character of our century home. She designed a new bathroom and mudroom that are unique and functional. Christine was available, communicative, efficient and guided us painlessly through every step of the renovation. I was continuously impressed by her ability to master all aspects of the project – everything from working with the contractors to overseeing furniture deliveries and managing installations. Every tradesperson recommended by Christine, including the cabinet maker and tiler, produced an impeccable product. Christine went the extra mile to ensure every step was handled within timelines and budgets. She was attentive and responsive and provided us with guidance in a respectful and welcoming manner. I am in awe of her design abilities and her project management skills. We absolutely love our new space!

We worked with Gairdner Design to refresh our main floor in time for the holidays and wow! Our living room is now our fave room of the house! From space planning to furniture selection, colour recommendations to finishing touches, all the support, direction and attention to detail that Christine provided was top-notch. She listened to our vague ideas and turned them into well-designed reality. Christine found terrific sources and tradespeople to deliver everything better than we could've imagined. We didn't blow our budget and continue to enjoy a gorgeous, cozy space that's always ready to go for holiday festivities and quality family time.

We hired Christine to give us some ideas to update our tired house. We loved her vision so much we have done a complete Reno of our house. Christine understood our style and cane back with a plan that fit our style and budget. She managed our project completely and updatecus in any changes. It was done on time and on budget and we absolutely love the results. I highly recommend her.

Christine delivered more than she promised. She was on time, and on budget, unless I made changes. Mistakes were dealt with really quickly, and the final results are awesome! She designed it all to suit our family, not House and Home. As a mom and business owner, I was never home, but her trades were always very friendly to my teenage son who often was home. Christine even shovelled my back deck one day to help the trades people get in while i was away. If you want to be hands off or hands on, Christine is your Designer. Thank you!
