We hired Kristyn for a complete renovation of our first floor. There aren't enough good things that I can say about her and the work she did. From our first meeting we immediately knew that she was the right person as she took the time to listen and understand our taste and style. Her suggestions were always on point and often would be something that we would never have considered. Several of the sub-contractors used were her recommendations and their work clean and fairly priced. The discounts she got for us on the various fixtures more than paid for her services. In addition to suggestions for paint colors and fixtures, Krystin liaised regularly with our contractor, architect and various sub-contractors to make sure they were on schedule. This was such a huge help as there were so many moving parts. Whether by email or text, Kristyn would always be available to answer questions and always replied to our questions promptly. She visited the project in person many times, particularly during critical phases of the project to ensure things were running smoothly. Large project or small, if you're looking for a designer then you won't be disappointed in Kristyn. We certainly would use her services again.

We have used Luxe Home Living multiple times over the past two years to help us turn our houses into homes. Kristyn is an absolute joy to work with. She has a wonderful eye for colors and design aesthetic, but more importantly she listens to your ideas and figures out how to work with you instead of pushing the latest trends on you. Her demeanor is relaxed and easygoing which makes what can be an overwhelming process so much easier. Once she knows what your vision is, she will take the lead on executing it so that you don't have to worry about anything. When we were moving into our new house, the interior color choices were not ideal, but we were not intimidated because we knew Kristyn would be able to help us turn it into our dream home. Everyone who walks through the door comments on the work that Kristyn has done. She even worked with our younger son to find a theme for his room that would make him feel comfortable in a new environment and then hand-painted a mural on his wall! She really goes above and beyond for her clients. I cannot say enough about how wonderful Kristyn is! I would highly recommend Luxe Home Living to anyone- whether you need a little bit of help or are doing a big project, Kristyn will make sure everything is perfect and easy!

We used Kristyn a second time for a huge master-suite renovation. I can't even begin to explain how incredibly wonderful it was to work with her again, especially on such a huge project. She totally understood my vision and guided me through every step of the way to completion. It was a little scary, but Kristyn was always there for me when I needed someone to talk me off the ledge. I truly do not have adequate words to describe this talented, thoughtful, caring and brilliant person.

We had a great experience working with Kristyn and would definitely use her again!! She took the time to find out about our needs for our project and then asked questions to learn about our style and just married it all together. She gave us great options for furniture and was respectful of our budget. She also gave us great vendor recommendations for a painter, rug store, stone guy and handyman and we would use them again too! She was very responsive during the project and always delivered on when she said she would for our timeline!

This review is my pleasure to write. Working with Kristyn was the best experience and I am 100% sure there will be many future projects. Kristyn helped me design a master suite with a new bedroom, bathroom and phenomenal closet. From the minute she walked in my house, she understood what "vibe" I wanted. I wasn't even really sure myself, until Kristyn put together these idea boards. This was amazing because I couldn't really articulate my vision and she was able to take my thoughts and put them into pictures. I gave her such rough ideas and she was able nail down colors, designs, vanities and furniture. She made all the arrangements, came with samples, swatches, doors, paint swatches. She even bought paint samples and painted them in each room. Nothing was left to chance. She truly became my partner in this project. She went with me to pick out tile, granite, lighting, etc. Most importantly she has exquisite taste and she was 100% honest. If she didn't like what I chose, she told me why she didn't think it worked. I trusted her with all my decisions and I was never disappointed. When it came to my closet, which was really the reason I started this whole project, her assistance in designing the layout, colors, lighting, hardware was priceless. I am so happy with the entire project and highly recommend Kristyn for all your design needs. She has such a calming demeanor and is a pleasure to work with. She was reliable, responsible and explained everything with a picture!

Kristyn is amazing! She totally "got me" and my very eclectic taste. She made redesigning two of our bathrooms a complete joy. She always found exactly what I was looking for and made the process fun and enjoyable. Plus, she extended her professional discounts to me! I love working with her. I will never use anyone else!!

This was my first experience with a designer so choosing the right one was daunting. But, working with Kristyn Mednik of Luxe Home Living was a dream come true. She is extremely well-versed in the world of design that I feel so fortunate to have worked with her. Her overall vision, sense of color and furniture placement are extraordinary, and I would use her again in the future. She is also well-connected to the best painting, wallpaper and carpet contractors around the area so that made the project that much easier for me. She will definitely be doing my next home if I move again.

Kristyn was just amazing to work with. I emailed her on Houzz and she came by to look at the space I wanted to redecorate. It only took her a few minutes to understand my style and make some awesome recommendations. Even with a newborn, she found time to stop by a few times and check on the progress. I would contact her and let her know what I was looking for, either curtains, pillows, lamps….you name it, and she would get back to me right away with recommendations. She did some shopping for me and dropped the purchases off at my house, and even came to pick up the things that I did not want to use. She worked within my budget and found the perfect pieces for my style. She’s very professional and easy to work with and would definitely recommend her!

Kristyn was an absolute pleasure to work with! We gave her a very tight timeline and budget and she knocked it out of the park! The mural in the hallway was executed by Kristyn herself. She really brought out her inspiration of public art in Philly to the space in a fun and colorful way. Would definitely work with her again!!
