Laurence Cafritz Builders provided an exceptional experience and an exceptional product. And, I do not say this lightly, as a I was a home construction carpenter for many years on custom beach front homes in the Hamptons, NY. From Larry through every team member they were exceptionally knowledgeable, friendly, attentive and responsive. And that was not merely toward our family but also to our neighbors. An "in build" can, of course, be disruptive to neighbors. LCB worked hard at keeping our neighbors informed and satisfied as the work progressed. We received compliments from neighbors about LCB's team and contractors. When you are building a new custom home there are many things to do and always some issues that crop up. That is inevitable as it is a complex, intensive and lengthy process. In every way Laurence Cafritz Builders met or exceeded our expectations. Three examples come readily to mind. First, when there was a bit of an error in concrete form work for our foundation, rather than simply extend siding down to cover it, Larry, who himself identified the problem, added additional custom stone work at no cost to compliment our back patio. Second, when we had a problem with our furnace not only did LCBs people and contractors fix it on Christmas Eve, they demanded that it ultimately be replaced entirely. It has worked great since. Third, LCB does a vigorous one year walk through and completes a variety of things from hardware to painting, etc. For us they even replaced a solid wood oak door that was sticking a bit! From design to demolition to construction to walk throughs (x2) and selections of all kinds, including baths, fixtures, cabinets, counter tops, flooring, paint, HVAC, siding, appliances and more, Larry and his team and contractors were superior. They completed our home on time (even a little ahead) and on budget. Based on our experience we heartily recommend Laurence Cafritz Builders to the discerning costumer.

Laurence Cafritz Builders participated in the design and construction of our home from its inception until its final completion. Since it was a custom designed home in almost every respect, Cafritz recommended the architect whose fees were half the usual expense associated in the design of a custom home. In addition, our decorater worked closely with Cafritz & the architect monthly to refine a finished design which we are proud. After construction, we had no issues with punch list items, and almost 10 years later Cafritz continues to be helpful with normal maintenance issues which might crop up. Finally, the appraised value of our home has increased during a period of economic downturn. I have recommended Cafritz to friends and know that they have been as pleased as we have with his diligence, service and quality product.

We bought our beautiful brand new home from Cafriz in 2008. I had looked at about 50 homes, and there just wasn't one to compare with this house. Eight years later it still wows us. Every system has worked perfectly, and I am not easy to please. As a real estate broker, I see a whole lot of new houses. A Cafriz house is honestly perfection.

This was an important project for our family, as we were about to have our third child and I, as a sculptor, was about to realize my dream of building a studio behind the house. This builder is definitely of the highest quality, his focus on details is unmatched, and his desire to offer the client opportunities to save costs is especially appreciated. This project was both a renovation and new building project (studio). We gutted the first floor of the house and created elaborate moldings and built ins. The studio is a 25' x 25' x 25' high structure with an I-beam to hold up to 2000 lb objects. The builder definitely has the versatility to do unusual projects and the quality of his projects is of second-to-none in the region. Needless to say, I highly recommend this builder for your future home.
