We are extremely grateful to Monogram Builders for their exceptional work on the extensive remodel of our home. Their communication was excellent at every stage of the project. Stephanie is a gifted interior designer who listens to her clients, and makes their vision come to life. We cannot imagine embarking on a project of this detail and magnitude without her guidance. Eric is a exceptional craftsman that takes pride in his work. His cabinets and wood working are without question works of art that will enhance the beauty and value of your home. We are ultimately very happy with the work that Monogram did in our home and are enjoying our new living spaces! Stefanie would tell you that I am one of the pickiest individuals she's probably ever worked with and there was no shortage of spirited discussions about process, products, colors - you name it. She was able to find solutions to all of my concerns and create a lovely, cohesive space. Eric's cabinetry is gorgeous and I very much enjoyed watching the new kitchen materialize before my eyes. Monogram has long-standing relationships with their subs and the collegiality, professionalism and craftsmanship of each team was much appreciated. The overall quality of the work is excellent. And when we had a significant issue with the electrical sub (not one of their usual subs!!) Stefanie and Eric were very supportive with those difficult discussions and we were grateful to have them in our corner. Where we struggled was with some of the administrative aspects of the project. My husband and I are both project managers and as such had an expectation about how management and updates to scope/schedule/budget would be handled. There were many moving pieces to the project and scheduling sometimes felt a bit haphazard and disorganized. Uncommunicated changes to decisions about how a piece of work was going to be done caused an urgent and unscheduled move out of the house. Though we had communicated a hard budget, we failed to communicate our expectation that we receive initial and regular line item updates to help ensure that the scope changes (some necessary, some added) were within the original budget. By the time we got our first update, the project was well underway and projected to be well over budget. We had to cut the scope significantly and take on some of the work ourselves to bring it back into alignment with our original target, which was obviously disappointing and stressful. In spite of these challenges, overall I would call the project a success and when we're ready to complete the remaining work, will be reaching out to Monogram again. As stated, the quality of the work was excellent and that, ultimately is the goal. We genuinely enjoyed getting to know Stefanie, Eric and the rest of the team and I think we all learned a lot from this experience. We look forward to using the learnings from this project to perfect the next one!

What a wonderful experience we had with Monogram Builders! They did an amazing job transforming our boring kitchen/first floor into a beautiful and welcoming space. Stefanie has impeccable taste and a wonderful eye for what works in your space, and Eric creates absolutely beautiful cabinetry! This is a dream team! I have worked with many construction crews in my day and I have never worked with a crew that cared like this one. They always came in and kept things neat and tidy, left the site clean and really cared about their work. Stefanie saved me thousands and thousands of dollars by sharing her trade account pricing and with her suggestions on what would give me the best bang for my buck. Stefanie's knowledge of functionality of each space was so refreshing! I'm a huge cook and so is she, and she gave me some of the best design advice for my space that saves me time and energy on a daily basis. The Monogram team worked faster and more efficient that every other crew I had n my home for other projects! Eric built me some of the most beautiful built in cabinets and I love that they are custom and unique for my space. I already booked them back in October to do the upstairs laundry room and living room! I can't wait. My neighbors can't believe how quickly and efficiently they got my job done. Best experience ever

Responsive and timely husband and wife team. Eric is the contractor and they work with a consistent team. They worked to our budget, but they are at a premium for their timeliness and management. It helps to be clear about your wants and needs and any side projects outside of monograms project to avoid any hiccups or extra cost. The team works relatively independently to their targets. If you want to get your job done this is the team to go with. Check out their past jobs you'll get an idea of the design. Eric also went above and beyond to help us during the project with misc tasks as well

We began with a powder bath remodel and expanded to a kitchen remodel and new dining area. Stephanie has fabulous taste & helped us transform our home into a place we absolutely love! Eric is a master custom cabinet maker & craftsman. He utilized empty space from under our stairway and created a custom set of buffet drawers & a wine rack that is both beautiful & useful storage. Stephanie’s design ideas were personalized to our taste and lifestyle. She really brought a new level of classic & transitional blend to our home. We love the custom kitchen island with the gorgeous quartzite counter that has rich texture & really makes a statement. Our home has a wonderful flow and is open and perfect for entertaining friends & family. We can’t wait to have them back for more projects!

We were very happy with the finished kitchen that Monogram Builders installed in the upstairs of our home. It's very simple, practical and well thought out. They worked within our budget and made the design decisions. It's a real asset and has added to the value of our home.

We were thrilled with the full home remodel of our 1950s townhome! Stefanie provided expert advice to create a unique, elegant, and comfortable home while respecting our budget. Eric designed and custom built beautiful and high quality kitchen cabinets and a new pantry. Communication was great, and despite some unexpected complications, they completed the project on time to meet our move in date!
