Our business began in 1999, when Hugh MacDonald and Jenny Hassenbach wanted to switch careers. Hugh is an engineer but wanted to get out of the factory environment. Skiing at Telluride, they noticed a beautiful log home and realized building houses would be a terrific new venture. Beginning with a spec home, referrals have enabled us to enjoy brisk business for almost 20 years. We build custom homes, spec homes and do renovations. Grant Beckett, an engineer and MBA joined the team in 2004. We take pride in every home we build, and each one is unique. Quality trades and materials ensure a Newgrowth home will be a good investment for many decades - it is our mandate!
