We worked with NK Woodworking on a custom wood staircase as well as other projects for our custom homes. Nathie is really an artist and pushes the limits as far as what is possible and he is wildly creative. The team he works with are all incredibly talented. We will work with them in the future I'm sure!

NK Woodworking created new stairs for my entry and I could not be more happier with the end result. Everyone who enters my home complements the combination of materials, the different woods and metals, and the design. NK Woodworking was a real find! I also found everyone there extremely professional and easy to work with, so would highly recommend them to others.

We just completed a custom home, and our staircase is the first thing you see when you walk in the door. It's stunning - it's truly a work of art. Nathie and his team are amazing. It was actually fun working with them to design a one-of-a-kind piece that fit our style and our home, but also brought in Nathie's incredible craftsmanship and eye for beauty. The quality is amazing - every detail is carefully designed and crafted. Nathie also pays attention to where it is in the room, and makes great use of space. Looking up from the base of our stairs, up through two floors and through the skylights is breathtaking. I highly recommend Nathie and his team. It's not cheap -- you're essentially buying a unique work of art. We don't own very much art, but with this staircase, I now feel like I don't have to. (Can you tell I love it? :)

I can't say enough good things about Nathie and NK Woodworking. I know it may sound trite but the entire experience was a pleasure. Alan first caught our attention at the Seattle Boat Show and I had to see more. A visit to the studio convinced me that I wanted an NK Woodworking art piece for my home. Nathie listened carefully to my goals for a live edge dining table and graciously showed us slab after slab of raw english walnut suggesting the magical feathering and patterns that could be revealed with some expert coaxing. I trusted him to apply his artistic eye to the design and did not limit myself to my own expectations. What a good decision! The superior artisanship was matched to equally superior craftsmanship and I was thrilled with the results. Nathie finished on time and budget and our dining table is a showpiece and conversation starter. NK Woodworking designed and built a railing system, treads and risers for a staircase and a "wall" that can only be described as art. The design and execution turned what would have been a traditional looking entry and staircase into the focal point and a beautiful piece of art. The work was done with superb craftsmanship and was executed on schedule. I would highly recommend NK Woodworking for any project where you want to change humdrum into imaginative beauty and add distinction to your home.

We met Nathie at a boat show where he had some of his work displayed. We instantly knew we were interested in working with NK Woodworking and began the design process with him. After several meetings in his shop and at our job sight we let him run with our verbal ideas and he created our masterpiece. Our staircase is a beautiful work of art! I'm an interior designer and found NK Woodworking on Houzz. I knew I had to work with them on a project as they create works of art. I designed a live edge wall door in one of my condo renovation projects. Nathie and his team were great at finding me the right slab to meet the specific needs for the project. They were very attentive to every detail. I look forward to working with them again!

Nathie is an artist and very professional in his stair design and construction. He caught mistakes in the framing and devised a custom fix. He built us a beautiful stairway and railing system for our new house. Nathie was enthusiastic and energetic all through the project. We are very pleased with the result. We own a B&B in Seattle and were interested in upgrading our dining room tables. We wanted something that would "wow" our Guests when they came down to Breakfast. Nathie delivered on all counts. From the initial design meetings to choosing the type of wood that we wanted, the project went without a hitch. The tables were delivered on time and on budget. I couldn't be more please with the final product. These tables are works of art and should give our Guests years of use. Nathie is a true Craftsman. His is creative, detail oriented and it shows in his work.

We were remodeling (actually reconstructing would be more accurate) a home and ran into a head clearance issue on the stairway. The solution was to add an overhead "bridge" instead of conventional floor joists over the lower stairway landing. We'd seen Nathe's/NKWodworking's work at the boat show. Putting two and two together we hired him to design and build a lattice grate, similar to what you would see on boat, to serve as a bridge above the stairway. It is built from sugar maple with black walnut trusting, and finished to yacht standard - and is a thing of both function and beauty! The house project is nearing completion, but since a lot of finish work is going on the grate is for the time being under wraps. We will try and post a picture when everything is cleaned up.

Designed, built, and installed a curved staircase and matching guardrail. All work was performed in a timely and professional manner. NK takes great pride in their work. They are true craftsmen. We recommend them without reservation.
