Joel has been an absolute pleasure to work with. He has accommodated our many changes along the way, giving advice, and providing workarounds to any challenges that came up. My kids love him, and for us, it's been much less stressful to have one trusted individual in my home, rather than many unknown workers from a large company. We will be using his services for all future renovations.

Resilient assisted us with design and construction services for the remodel of our 1950s era main bathroom and adjoining master ensuite bathroom. The services were provided in a timely, professional and friendly manner. The conceptual and design issues were complicated because we were taking out a door and most of a wall. Joel Ast was very helpful with creative design ideas and envisioning the end result of the decisions we made. His experience gave us confidence in our design decisions. Joel gave us lots of invaluable advice about lighting, putting in extra insulation wherever possible and placement of fixtures and hardware. We would recommend this contractor to our neighbours and would love to have him back to do our kitchen remodel!

Joel did a great job (lower walk-out kitchenette,etc. development in finished basement), on-time,on-budget and with great quality workmanship. He pays attention to detail and offers great suggestions to improve project. I found him highly reliable, friendly, trust worthy and practical. I can't recommend Resilient Contracting highly enough. We had to sell our home ASAP and many local companies were looking to charge us an arm and leg. We decided to try a Calgary company just to see how they compared. WOW! Joel and crew were able to do the updates AND restoration work (insulation and drywall and mudding) NEW Kitchen and Bathrooms for half the price AND in half the time. And the work was FANTASTIC! Clean, professional, and HIGH QUALITY. When the invoice came in, it was EXACTLY what Joel had quoted me for. Highly, highly recommended.

After meeting with 2 other contractors I liked the vibe and communication I had immediately with Joel; he listened, advised, provided written estimates and worked with my budget. I had serious issues with interior water seepage due to ice damning and knew I had to do major work. Joel helped me decide what was necessary and what extras we would work on. I will be getting him back to renovate the basement (and can't wait!).
