We hired Blockhouse to build a large wraparound deck and screened in porch on our home. Andrew and his team did a fantastic job and everything turned out great. We encountered some unexpected issues during construction... but Andrew was quick to explain the issues, recommend solutions, and then implement the agreed fix. We were impressed with the attention to detail, design flexibility, and open communication throughout the project. We felt that the team really took the time to produce a quality product and every task was professionally completed. Andrew made it clear that everything had to be done right, he wasn't interested in flying through the job just to be done sooner. We hired Blockhouse to serve as the General Contractor for our 4-unit new construction project. Throughout construction, we were in frequent communication to ensure everything was going as planned. When problems came up, the Blockhouse team promptly took care of them to ensure approval from us. Something that stood out to us is their desire to actually raise the bar of the industry and are future facing -- always staying up to date on the latest best practices and technology.
