Shay the project manager took care of all my requests. I appreciated his attention and help regarding my journey, which was remodeling my kitchen. The finish result has made me very happy. Shay had good ideas that I used and was satisfied with the results. After the completion he still had suggestions that I am going to use for the finishing touches. We wanted to have the entire kitchen remodeled since it was worn out. After careful consideration, we decided to ask Y9 to take care of this project. Because their quote was very competitive and they had a specific color of the cabinet we were looking for. The final outcome was superb. Y9 created a beautiful kitchen for us in relatively short amount of time. We are really glad that we hired Y9 for our project. The project manager was Jamal, and the installer was Noe. Both of them are Y9 employees, and they did an outstanding job. Jamal has great sense of responsibility and was on top of everything. He was quick to come up with the resolution when an issue arose. Noe is very reliable, and he can do almost everything. Actually he did demolition, wall repair, cabinet installation, flooring, painting, appliance installation, fixture installation, etc. The only subcontractor who came to my home was a countertop installer. Everything else was done by Y9 themselves. Another thing I like about Jamal and Noe is that they always listened to me carefully and gave me some good suggestions. I know I am detail oriented, so I guess it was not always easy for them to do so. Overall Y9 gave us quality service at a very competitive rate. Highly recommended.

Y9 recently completed work on my 27-year old condo. I had both bathrooms remodeled, created a walk-in closet, installed recessed lighting, put in new baseboards, and painted throughout the entire interior. I absolutely love my newly updated home! It’s a huge improvement, in terms of aesthetics and more importantly, functionality. While the process of remodeling is never easy, my project manager, Joseph, calmed my nerves throughout the process and smoothed out any bumps encountered along the way. I appreciated his efforts to stay within budget and get the project completed on time. There were some minor additional costs, primarily to bring a couple of things up to current building codes. While the project was originally estimated to take 3-4 weeks, I did add on a few items, so it ended up taking 6.5 weeks. Given the amount of work that was done, I think that was a fair amount of time. Family and friends that have visited my “new” condo have commented on the high quality of work. If you are thinking of a remodel, do it! Now that I’ve been living in my newly updated home for a few months, I couldn’t be happier with the changes.

Met with me same the same day i contacted them. Project was completed quickly. They did what they said they would do and kept in constant communication with me. Was not happy unless I was happy! Very Professional and good quality work. Will do more with this company.

Y9 Constructions did the kitchen remodel of cabinets and countertops in my town house (10 X 10 kitchen). They did all the work, demolition and waste removal, cabinet installation, counter installation, painting, and appliance installation (minor plumbing and electrical). I worked with Eddie Peer initially who came out and gave me the estimate. One of the things Y9 does that most others dob not is to provide a 3-D rendering of the proposed layout right on the spot. Any changes (and I had several), were easily incorporated to an updated design. Eddie was very patient with all my questions and changes for what was is considered a relatively small job. I hired Y9 based on their estimate and their ability to be flexible around my particular needs regarding budget but also incorporating semi-custom cabinets and design to fit some of the constraints of my utilities/layout of my kitchen. I hired them based in part on their website, that shows they can accommodate pretty much any remodel budget or design elements from stock to semi-custom to custom (cabinets, counters, flooring, lighting, tile, painting etc.). I got at least 5 different remodel quotes and Y9 had the best value in terms of quality for the price. My project manager was Shay and most of the actual construction was done by Luis. No subcontract workers were used (to my knowledge). Luis was a really nice guy, fast worker, friendly, (spoke perfect English) and did a great job of cabinet installation, custom cabinetry where it was needed, painting, and appliance installation (plumbing/electrical). Listened to all of my comments, answered questions, addressed issues that other workers would have left up to the management. As with any project, a number of issues and changes came up. I am by nature a person who pays close attention to the details and every issue i raised was addressed. Most changes and issues were managed without changes to the budget, and a couple other changes were added for a very reasonable cost (e.g. hinge upgrade). Schedule was important to them and the work would have probably finished early if not for my requests/changes. Bottom line, I felt I got excellent value (quality for dollars spent) and everyone I dealt with was easy to deal with, great attitude. I felt they were very professional and fair. I would recommend them without reservation.

Y9 is honest and affordable remodeling contractor. I recently remodeled my kitchen and I am super happy with what y9 construction has delivered! I went to get few quotes around town and they beat them all! Plus the renovation process was punctual and everything was according to the plan, highly recommend!

Y9 was great. I've worked with contractors before and it was a completely different experience. The project manager mike was great he always made sure I was aware of what was going on day to day. The workers finished the entire project when they said they would even when with unexpected problems arose. Ivan was always friendly and respectful of my home. I would skip dealing with any other company

We hired Y9 Construction to divide a room, which involved some electrical work too. Eli was definitely the most reliable and easy to deal with of all the contractors I received quotes from, although not the cheapest. He also was generous with his time, answering lots of questions about home repair in general (we're first-time owners). The room division was done well and we are really happy with the work! I had made a handful of calls when looking for a contractor to take this project and feel very lucky that Y9 Construction is the one that worked out. If you need a contractor, definitely give Y9 a call. I couldn't recommend them more highly!

Y9 Construction just recently finished my kitchen remodel. I absolutely love my kitchen. Eddie and his team did beautiful work. Eddie brings all of his experience and trained eye to the job. He was extremely helpful in helping me make all of my aesthetic choices, and making sure I understood exactly what was going to happen and why. He was very involved with the entire planning process, which I understand from the designer is above and beyond what most contractors do. They also completely redid my living room walls and ceiling after part of my ceiling fell due to years of adding layers of paint and plaster in my pre-war building apartment finally proved too much. The walls and ceiling are beautiful, and the paint color choices he made were perfect to my vision. The work was done on budget and everything is beautiful. I highly recommend Eddie and his team.

My wife and I used Y9 Construction for our bathroom and kitchen renovations. We had an excellent experience. Both rooms turned out better than we imagined. Eli and his team worked quickly and efficiently, working around our busy lives, and still leaving us with a livable situation while under construction. The kitchen was especially well done. He incorporated our ideas as well as bringing his own expertise to bear. Renovating a one bedroom apartment in San Diego can be a challenge, but Eli is a true professional and a master of his craft.

We recently hired Y9 Construction for a kitchen remodel at our home in Spring Valley. Y9 came in with the lowest bid and no hidden costs. Eli and Eddie came to our house and drew the design on an iPAD to give us a good idea of how the finished product would look. We met Eli at the tile store (for the backsplash) and he helped with the selection; furthermore, he met us at a business that sells counter tops and discussed the differences between the materials. We went with the quartz which came out beautiful. Luis was the main carpenter and he was very professional. He was careful not to damage anything and gave great suggestions for improvements. The project was completed on time as promised. Eli was straight with the costs and stuck to our budget; he didn't charge a penny more. If you worry about inviting people into your home, don't worry about the guys from Y9 Construction. They were friendly and great to work with. More importantly, my wife and I love our new kitchen!
