Our designer, Hannah Tindall, worked with the homeowners to create a contemporary kitchen, living room, master & guest bathrooms and gorgeous hallway that truly highlights their beautiful and extensive art collection. The entire home was outfitted with sleek, walnut hardwood flooring, with a custom Frank Lloyd Wright inspired entryway stairwell. The living room's standout pieces are two gorgeous velvet teal sofas and the black stone fireplace. The kitchen has dark wood cabinetry with frosted glass and a glass mosaic tile backsplash. The master bathrooms uses the same dark cabinetry, double vanity, and a custom tile backsplash in the walk-in shower. The first floor guest bathroom keeps things eclectic with bright purple walls and colorful modern artwork.

However, the overall sizes are consistent and will NOT have any negative impact on installation; on the contrary, some small variations on sizes reflect the nature of the products thus making your wall or floor tiling project a more natural one. Also, the color variation caused by different computer screen or browser exists from different pc screens. Therefore, the possible color/size variations between the mother of pearl tile sample and actual shipment or the product color shown on the screen and actual shipment should not be considered as quality issues.

COLOR CODED. Awash in neutral tones, this contemporary kitchen serves up simplicity in a Philadelphia couple’s secondary residence in DC. Matte white base cabinets—topped with speckled gray granite and a white ceramic tile backsplash—create a L-shaped prep center. Without wall cabinets to distract, the central window floats freely above the sink, while dappled gray resilient linoleum covers the floor.

The three-level Mediterranean revival home started as a 1930s summer cottage that expanded downward and upward over time. We used a clean, crisp white wall plaster with bronze hardware throughout the interiors to give the house continuity. A neutral color palette and minimalist furnishings create a sense of calm restraint. Subtle and nuanced textures and variations in tints add visual interest. The stair risers from the living room to the primary suite are hand-painted terra cotta tile in gray and off-white. We used the same tile resource in the kitchen for the island's toe kick.

Updating a recently built town home in culver city for a wonderful family was a very enjoyable project for us.

Even though many homeowners know there are maintenance issues with marble, they can't resist its beauty. 5. White subway tile. It really doesn't matter what size, though the classic is 3x6. It can be glossy, crackle, beveled or square edged, handmade or machine made, or even in white marble. If you're looking for a twist on the classic, try a 2x6 or 2x8 or 2x4 — the proportions can really change the look of your kitchen, as can the grout color. 6.

The focal point in the kitchen is the deep navy, French range positioned in an alcove trimmed in distressed natural wood and finished with handmade tile. The arched marble backsplash of the bar creates a dramatic focal point visible from the dining room.

We were inspired by our clients collection of beautiful dinnerware and serve ware which were gorgeous shades of blues.
We kept the finishes classic like the Shaker door style and the classic blue accent color but we added lovely details such as the rope crown molding and the textural tile back-splash.
