Somewhat unexpected in this traditional home was the use of the caramel colored wilton area rug as well as the custom wrapped linen coffee table. “We started with a stacked stone fireplace at the end of the great room which did a great job of bringing the outdoors in and relating to the home’s natural setting. While it is a stunning focal point of the space, it is also very busy, visually. We had a big, bright open space to work with. We went with neutral colors, a statement leather couch and a wool rug from CB2 with colors that tie in the other colors in the room. The fireplace mantel is custom from Sawtooth Ridge on Etsy. More art from Lost Art Salon in San Francisco and accessories from the clients travels on the bookshelf from S=CB2.

Barca lounge chair makes a sleek, urban statement wherever it is placed in the home. The chair’s tufted seat and back cushions appear to float in the sculptural “X” stainless steel base. Barca measures 30.5 inches wide, which makes it an ideal lounge seat for quiet relaxation, browsing on a mobile device, or conversing with guests. Both the Barca chair and ottoman are available in faux leather in a choice of two colors: Distressed Black or Distressed Caramel.

This bright and airy living room was created through pastel pops of pink and blue and natural elements of greenery, lots of light, and a sleek caramel leather couch all focused around the red brick fireplace.
