We had an exceptional experience working with Anu on the remodel of our powder bathroom. We needed an additional bathroom downstairs and Anu devised a clever floor plan that transformed our existing Powder Bath into two distinct rooms—a compact yet fully functional bathroom, and a cute powder room. Her design maximized the small footprint, significantly enhancing our home's convenience. Anu skillfully handled all aspects of the project. She prepared the necessary permit drawings for city approval, facilitated the permit acquisition process, and provided detailed construction drawings. She also recommended a reliable contractor, ensuring we had a trustworthy team in place. Throughout the construction phase, Anu was readily available to answer our questions, made regular site visits, and diligently ensured that her design was executed to perfection. Throughout the project, we were continually impressed by Anu's professionalism, effective communication, dedication, and genuine sincerity. We highly recommend her for any interior design and remodeling projects.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Anu on two projects in my home and I am beyond thrilled with the results. We wanted to convert a nook in our guest bedroom into a new bathroom. After talking to a number of different designers, we picked Anu. The whole design process showcased Anu's exceptional attention to detail and creative flair. She listened to our needs and helped us make the right design choices. The modern aesthetic she created exceeded my expectations, and the improved functionality of the space is truly remarkable. The patio project Anu also led for us was a game-changer for our family! The seamless integration of outdoor elements and stylish furnishings created a haven that has become the envy of all who see it. The patio is not only an inviting and beautifully designed space but also usable in all seasons. Anu is very professional, timely with communication, and goes above and beyond to make sure her customers get all the information needed to make the perfect design choices. Anu helped us redesign part of our garage into a mudroom and rethink the interior of a small ADU. Both are challenging spaces to work with, in different ways, but she was able to find creative solutions that balance beauty and function. She listened to our needs, created a range of options that suit our style and budget, and worked with us to mold the rooms into warm, comfortable, cohesive, family-friendly spaces. We loved her creativity, attention to detail, flexibility, and responsiveness to changing requirements. We are busy working parents and were grateful to have her expertise with the entire lifecycle of the project from design and conception to construction. In addition to the design, Anu took care of the ordering of products (with a discount!), created construction drawings, communicated with contractors, and responded to questions that came up during execution. It was an absolute pleasure to work with Anu and we look forward to working with her again in the future!

Anu helped us with our backyard renovation project. She was involved from the conception of the project to the completion. Anu listened to our requirements and came up with multiple design proposals considering all family members including our pet dog. She worked with us on finalizing the design while incorporating changes based on our feedback. She helped in getting multiple work estimates from different contractors and in choosing the contractors. She worked meticulously with the contractors on doing the work as per the design. The end product is a testament to her professionalism and attention to details. We look forward to enjoying our backyard for years to come. I highly recommend Anu for any indoor or outdoor project.

The project was to modernize a main living room and master bath. The house was built in the mid 70's and desparately needed updating. Anu was fantastic to work with. She helped with design, paint selections, and furniture selections. Painting the fireplace an off white made a huge difference, lightening up the main living space. The furniture selections were top quality - worth the investment for sure. Anu was very easy to work with and communicated well. Her recommendation were well thought out. I wouldn't hesitate to hire Anu again and would certainly recommend Persimmon Design for consideration.

I've been wanting design help on my house ever since I bought the house .I am glad I found Anu as my interior designer. Anu is super helpful and great to work with.,She listens to our likes/dislikes.I appreciate the care she took in taking her time to provide me with a quality design. Anu is patient, listens well, and tries to work with clients to meet their needs. She is very good at helping evaluate options, and balance design with a budget to drive the outcomes we want. She offered a great balance of reusing existing pieces and augmenting as needed with new pieces. She is approachable and easy to work with! We enjoyed working with her.

Anu designed our entryway and did an absolutely amazing job. She was a pleasure to work with. She first spent the time to understand our aesthetics, and designed accordingly. I wanted something bright, modern yet cozy and she hit it out of the park with our seemingly contradicting requirements. She is very collaborative and incorporated my asks into the design. I had lot of questions during the process and she patiently answered and addressed all my questions and concerns. She picked quality pieces that I foresee lasting a long time. Another good thing was Anu herself found contractors/electricians and even coordinated with them to get all installations done. The scale of the artwork and furniture was perfect and make the entryway look much grander. I highly recommend her.

Anu is a fantastic designer to bring an upscale look to your private home interiors. She helped us with a kitchen remodel and furnishing plan for our main floor. She was fun to work with and her architectural background brought a realism to her design solutions for our kitchen.

Persimmon Design did a great job on the design for our powder room. We wanted to switch it from an old 1995 original home wallpapered look to a clean Japanese style. Anu sent us many design inspirations to vote on to get a good idea of what kind of look we liked or did not like. She then came up with a really sleek functional design with wall to wall large neutral tiling, matte black fixtures, custom made wood vanity, ceiling length shower doors, infinity drain, and gorgeous light fixtures and shelves. With a few refinements we were able to get all we desired in the budget we wanted. Anu also helped us find a contractor and worked with them closely to get the entire project done up to spec. We love our new bathroom and it was only possible due to Persimmon Design!

Anu has been wonderful to work with. She took time to understand our style and vision and designed a space that was unique, inviting, and true to our needs as a family. Our backyard while large did not have much useable space because most of it was on a hillside. The part that was flat, was covered with trees and bushes. We also had a serious issues of water logging. Anu came up with a lovely design that increased the useable space of our backyard and reduced the water logging issue as well. She also helped us find the right contractor and worked with him to implement her design. Overall we are very happy with our updated backyard

Anu helped us transform various spaces in our home – Living room, Daughter’s room, Home Office, and our backyard. Each time, she paid detailed attention to all our aspirations and goals and made sure to incorporate them into the design. She would always provide us with a couple of design schemes to pick and choose from. She also made it easy to envision how the space would look by providing 3D views of the design. We found her designs to be exceedingly tasteful and thoughtful. After design finalization, she ordered all the materials and products for us at trade discount prices, helped us find contractors and oversaw the construction/installation until the whole project was complete. We really enjoy our new beautiful spaces! It was a pleasure to work with her and we look forward to working with her again in the future.

Anu is very professional and detail oriented designer. She helped us design our living room, entryway, dining room and re-do our laundry and powder room. One thing which stood our for me was her requirement gathering was thorough and she didn't force fit her ideas rather listened to what her clients wanted. My specific example would be my love for orange color, which although was not fitting in overall schemes we narrowed, she ensured she used that colour in Sofa cushions and Seating cushions. She is currently also managing our outdoor project. I would recommend her for any project indoor and outdoor.
