Built from the ground up on 80 acres outside Dallas, Oregon, this new modern ranch house is a balanced blend of natural and industrial elements. The custom home beautifully combines various materials, unique lines and angles, and attractive finishes throughout. The property owners wanted to create a living space with a strong indoor-outdoor connection. We integrated built-in sky lights, floor-to-ceiling windows and vaulted ceilings to attract ample, natural lighting. The master bathroom is spacious and features an open shower room with soaking tub and natural pebble tiling. There is custom-built cabinetry throughout the home, including extensive closet space, library shelving, and floating side tables in the master bedroom. The home flows easily from one room to the next and features a covered walkway between the garage and house. One of our favorite features in the home is the two-sided fireplace – one side facing the living room and the other facing the outdoor space. In addition to the fireplace, the homeowners can enjoy an outdoor living space including a seating area, in-ground fire pit and soaking tub.

Updating a recently built town home in culver city for a wonderful family was a very enjoyable project for us. The townhouse bathroom had a basic look and was lacking in both storage and looks. the main part of this project was the custom design and building of the vanity unit and the extra storage with bi-fold doors so not to take up too much space. the floors were done with porcelain tile that mimics the rich look of Calcutta marble. the large format tile gives a sensation of space and minimalize the amount of grout lines on the floor. The shower unit received a much-needed high end plumbing fixture and the shower head was raised to a normal height. the walls were tiled with the same floor tile in a staggered pattern. the bench wall is the center focal point and is boasting a chiseled texture dark gray tile that is been complimented by the slate shower pan tile work. notice the bench top and the step into the shower, it is done with a single piece of quartz stone for a clean and grout-less look.

The master bathroom is an amazing space. The glass shower floats in the space, adjacent to the freestanding tub. The walls feature gridded trim. The shower is designed for handicap accessibility without looking like it. The shower door has a zero threshold. The bench system allows one to sit on the exterior bench and use the vertical poles to pivot into the shower bench. Controls are in place for both the bench area as well as the main shower area.

Our clients were aging in place and wanted a curbless shower and large shower bench to meet certain functionality needs. We incorporated both of these wishes into our design and also made the shower larger within space. We utilized the current structure so we did not to do any re-framing into the client's hallway. Within the confines of the existing framing we maximized the space be creating an L shaped bench and niche, adding additional space for seating, storage, and a little extra design flare that really sets the shower space off! A serene primary bathroom wrapped in bookmatched marble creates a spa-like retreat in this reimagined Lincoln Park duplex. The freestanding soaking tub and walk-in shower with cantilevered bench offer a refined balance of sculptural form and everyday comfort. Subtle layering—textural rug, abstract artwork, and minimal fixtures—elevates the space with quiet luxury.

This custom shower was created from the ground up with new walls to enlarge the existing space. Heated floors were added using Warmup. 12x24 large format tile called Runway Ebony by Bedrosian was used for the walls. A custom built bench with Cambria Quartz in the Galloway design added a nice feature to the shower. New plumbing and grab bar was added along with three niches. Relocating from their home in Brisbane, Australia with ocean views to the Pacific, our clients envisioned a refresh for their new lakefront cottage on Pine Lake in West Bloomfield, Michigan. Completed in July 2024, we created new spaces, reimagined old ones, and even swapped places for a primary bedroom and its en suite bath. Our goal was to create a serene and soothing spa- like experience for the bathroom, all while maintaining gorgeous lake views. But this reconfiguration presented some challenges. The primary bedroom was oversized, while its adjacent bath was tiny and crowded. We completely flipped the locations of the bedroom and bathroom, even rerouting plumbing over the bar in the lower level to accommodate the freestanding tub. To maximize space, we designed large, walk-in dressing pantries that are as functional as they are beautiful, and lead to the large dual custom vanity. The vanity itself is freestanding to provide access for hand towel bath hardware on its sides. The his-and-hers unit contains built-in dividers, laundry hampers and trash pullouts to maximize its function. An enclosed water closet allows for privacy in the open concept bathroom, and is placed beyond the cabinetry. The star of this space is the large enclosed wet room. As the focal point of the bathroom, its oversized tiled walls and deep built-in bench allow for a steam or soaking in the tub while enjoying stunning lake views. The wet room is spacious and serene, and perfect for an end to a Michigan winter day.

This original Master Bathroom was a room bursting at the seams with plate glass mirrors and baby pink carpet! The owner wanted a more sophisticated, transitionally styled space with a better functional lay-out then the previous space provided. The bathroom space was part of an entire Master Suite renovation that was gutted down to the studs and rebuilt piece by piece. The plumbing was all rearranged to allow for a separate toilet rooms, a freestanding soaking bathtub as well as separate vanities for ‘His’ and ‘Her’ and a large, shared steam shower. New windows fill the entire wall around the bathtub providing an abundance of natural daylight while hidden LED lights accent the mirrors when desired. Marble subway tile was chosen for the walls along with complementary, large marble floor tiles for a classic and timeless look. Custom vanities were designed with function in mind providing the homeowner various storage zones, some even hidden behind the vanity mirrors! The shared steam shower has marble walls, ceiling and floor and is accented by marble mosaic tiles. A marble bench seat and brackets, milled out of slab material to match the bathroom counters, provide the homeowners a place to relax when utilizing the steam function. His and Her shower heads and controls finish out the space.
