This custom-designed space provides an inviting yet high-performance environment tailored for personal training and fitness sessions. Project Scope & Features: Design & Permitting - We prepared concept design layouts that we converted to construction drawings. We prepared and submitted all permitting applications for this home based business and provided client representation through each phase of the project up to and including final occupancy inspection. Space Planning & Layout Optimization – We maximized the existing footprint for optimal functionality, ensuring seamless equipment placement, circulation, and safety. Flooring Selection – We installed durable, shock-absorbing gym flooring to support high-impact training and reduce noise transfer. Lighting & Electrical Upgrades – We enhanced brightness and visibility with LED lighting, strategically placed for an energizing atmosphere. We added dedicated electrical circuits to accommodate specialized fitness equipment. A homeowner in rural Waller County asked us to remove all of the old and breaking vinyl siding on his ranch style house and replace it will all new Hardie materials. And since we love a challenge, we gladly jumped at the chance. This house gave us the opportunity to show off the differences between vinyl and Hardie products, including siding, soffit, fascia, window and door trim, and their extra large ceilings on their large front porch. As you can see, the old vinyl siding was warping, cracking, and falling off of the walls; the vinyl soffits and ceilings were stretched and sagging. This old vinyl siding was the OLD style with only the flat blue foam sheathing underneath it, which is always a concern because that foam has a very low perm rating, which means it is like wrapping your studs in Saran Wrap so moisture inside your walls cannot get out. In this case, we had to tear off multiple layers of stuff, including the old siding, the blue foam sheathing, the layer of original siding that was still on the wall, and all of the underlayers behind the siding. Often houses that have had vinyl siding for long periods end up discovering that their structural wood has absorbed water and parts of it have begun to rot. So wherever we find rotting or damaged load-bearing wood, we fix it. When all the studs are repaired, only then do we begin to apply to Hardie materials.

In this dining room, we draw attention to the ceiling structure and wood beam design by custom making the treatments on an angle. Rotating the square medallions also reiterates the angled ceiling so that the eye naturally rests on the architectural details. The adjacent Living Room continues the timeless pattern with floor to ceiling treatments, drawing attention to the ceiling height and crown molding details. Playrooms are all about FUN! When we started this room was a family theatre room. With baby number three on the way, and two twins already on board, it was important for this family to have a space for the children to do what children do best…. PLAY! Children prefer bright colors from an early age because their eyes are not fully developed yet. They perceive these colors better than fainter shades. Brighter colors and high contrasting colors stand out more in their field of vision; this is why we see so many primary brightly colored children’s toys. I wanted to set a stage where we didn’t feel like we constantly needed to clean up. We wanted to design a room that allowed you to live a realistic life over the design layer. I love how the children’s toys don’t clash with our playful rug. We customized large built ins underneath the windows seats to provide ample storage for large toys, and a space to sit and read. We framed out an existing book case, and wired two adjustable one arm wall lamps above. The added shiplap to the back of the bookcase provided texture, dimension and interest to an ordinary bookcase. We framed the window with two natural woven sideboards in black for additional toy storage. The Root Coffee table was one of my favorite features of this room. I loved bringing in a natural elements through woven doors on cabinets, a natural root coffee table, shiplap and floating natural wood shelving. I chose to do Benjamin Moore Simply White on the shiplap. It's a modern, bright, yet warm white, that absorbs and reflects beautifully on both wood and walls.

Linseed oil is the most natural coating for the protection of wooden surfaces, ideal for working areas such as chopping and kneading boards. The coating with linseed oil is not altered by temperature, is absorbed by the wood, and integrates to form a part of it. Extensive renovation to kitchen in 20 year old house facing the Marsh on Savannah's Wylly Island. Kitchen was pushed two feet into adjacent family room in order to expand the Island. We also absorbed an adjacent pool closet to add the hutch cabinet. A small existing window was enlarged into sliding doors matching those elsewhere. This 1924 beauty deserved a well planned and carefully detailed main level remodel. The goal for this project was to restore some of the original design elements and mix with modern day living and materials. Removing the wall between kitchen and dining space allowed the Gravelly Lake view to be absorbed from every angle. By carrying similar colors, styles and materials around the different rooms the home now has a cohesive style.

Elegance and harmony make this natural stone a precious ally for designers. Any environment can absorb and make its own its innate sophistication and allow it to emerge in the lines of the furnishing. Like a very elegant gown, nature skilfully interwove these two "non" colours, black and white, in order to put visual lyrics into sophisticated verses. The appearance becomes the foreground element, the mirror of a soul that preserves unaltered the grace of times past, combining it with the modern taste, which is seen in the cleanness of the lines. New construction and original landscaping completed in 2010. Original design had boulders between the driveway and home to minimize the stop and create curb appeal. An assortment of unusual trees (lions head maple, moon rise maple, hinokie cypress, twisted baby locus, and paper bark maple and others) were installed to compliment the home on the naturally wooded lot. Many different perennials and flowering shrubs were installed between these unique specimen trees to provide interest throughout the year. Phase 2 was initiated by the homeowner in 2016 were we landscaped the backyard, which was overgrown with wild trees. It was cleared to create a more useable space and play area for children. Our design team created a master landscape plan and was an integral part with the approval process with the municipality. We worked in tandem with an engineering firm to design and install a bio-retention pond. The pond was designed to take all of the runoff from the newly landscaped backyard. Wet loving plants were incorporated into the pond to beautify the area and absorb the water. A custom, multi-level play set was installed over artificial turf to blend with the newly expanded lawn area. An assortment of trees, shrubs and perennial were installed on the hillside separating the upper yard and newly expanded lower area. Low voltage landscape lighting was expanded to highlight the new plantings and provide light for the children to play in the evening. Our landscape design complimented he newly installed covered outdoor living space.
