Imagine light-filled loggias and impeccable Italianate lines. This was the inspiration for Roma, whose purity of form and meticulous craftsmanship pay homage to classicism. The extruded 3.0 mm gauge aluminum frame, designed to look and feel like wrought iron without the weight, is fully welded for structural integrity over time. Brass finials and medallions glint in the sunshine and will acquire a verdigris patina over time. Deep seating includes plush cushions. Matte-black powdercoated finish.

This in-fill custom home in the heart of Chaplin Crescent Estates belonged to a young couple whose family was growing. They enlisted the help of Lumar Interiors to help make their family room more functional and comfortable. We designed a custom sized table to fit by the window. New upholstered furniture was designed to fit the small space and allow maximum seating.
Project by Richmond Hill interior design firm Lumar Interiors. Also serving Aurora, Newmarket, King City, Markham, Thornhill, Vaughan, York Region, and the Greater Toronto Area.

This dining room has varying aspects of New Orleans.
Immediately I had a vision for this room. I saw the far wall to my left as a statement wall paying tribute to New Orleans Design. We transformed a basic wall into a shutter wall using restored New Orleans shutters, some from Katrina destroyed homes and other antique shutters from around the city. The shutters were then enhanced using shades of white, cream and grey with different level of distressing and aging.
An antique buffet was transformed to an eye catching silver, gold and pewter metallic piece.
Above the buffet is a custom made 4 ' x 6 ' oyster shell mirror.
Upon entering the home your eye is drawn to this wall as it POPS!
The "tiara", our icing on the cake, is the large vintage chandelier.

This dining room is a beautiful mixture of several elements to create a New Orleans Inspired Dining Room- decorating New Orleans Style!
We combined an antique dining table with vintage chairs that were chalk painted. We upholstered the chairs in a pretty light mint fabric with a french outdoor patio scene.

Upon entering the home your eye is drawn to this wall and the oyster mirror as it simply, POPS!
The "tiara", our icing on the cake, is the large vintage chandelier. The vintage "tiara" or chandelier was luckily grabbed at a local estate sale and transformed and rePURPOSED into a silver and gold beauty adorned with 6" antique crystals.

This was intended to be the formal living room, but we didn't need that space. My husband acquired this stunning reclaimed barn wood and we instantly knew this room needed a 12 foot farmable. So he built one. We installed all the perfect lighting and finishing touches to make this probably the most inviting, cozy dining room you'll find! We love it!

With a vision of a establishing a working farm and finding a bucolic locale for hosting their extended family, a retiring couple acquired 400 acres of gently rolling hills along the Duck River, approximately fifty miles from downtown Nashville. From there, they assembled a talented team of design professionals to reimagine the existing, historic 1800s farmhouse that sat on the property. Completed less than two years ago, the 9,000 sq.ft. home's elegant simplicity offered this family a timeless pastoral retreat - precisely what the owners had in mind. I love, love, love creating new living rooms. Why? Because they offer the best opportunity to create rooms with many design elements all in one spot. This room hadn't been touched in about 18 or 19 years. She was open to all my suggestions. While the piano limited the dimensions of the sitting area, the measurements I adhere to were acquired. Seating needs the right proximity to feel cozy and provide easy conversation without the need to shout to each other. This room shows how using warm and cool tones can add diversity, interest and the yin and yang that makes a room look Wow and feel appealing.

Parisian Fireplace Mantel
The Parisian echoes the easy informality of French country living. Inspired from an original fireplace acquired in France, this cast stone mantel features the combination of linear and fluid shapes to give an authentic aged appeal.

Project 0251 consisted of a three season addition with a storage room below. The ground floor walls of the three season were veneered with natural stone and capped with a bluestone water table. This detail ended up being carried throughout the existing foundation as well. The project also included a new deck and patio area capped off with a complete landscape renovation including plantings, turf, irrigation and lighting. This project was produced from the ground up—from design through finish—by PCI. We managed and executed the entire construction process in house, including a smooth journey through zoning to acquire the required variance for the deck. This is just one example of our construction divisions work in Wellesley, MA.

Inspiration for a mid-sized timeless carpeted and beige floor hallway remodel in DC Metro with beige walls

This remodeling project acquired a new face and interpretation of the spaces by liberating the floor plan. Walls were removed to allow natural light to come into the space. This old split level home was transformed from the inside to the outside.

The sun room made use of the homeowners grandmother’s Duncan Phyfe sofa with an antique wrought iron French glass top cocktail table acquired at a local antique shop. The sun porch has the original floor of terracotta which fit the motif perfectly.
