Our custom Ikea cabinet doors are present on throughout the entire kitchen. A solid maple wood rails and stiles of the shaker frame surround the plywood center panel. The ikea doors are painted a matte black. The matte texture helps draw your eye to the beautiful finishes of the room. The simple subway tile with the black grout to match the black custom Ikea cabinet doors is a great touch. Ikea cabinets are a budget friendly way of getting the complete kitchen you desire. This remodel went from a tiny story-and-a-half Cape Cod, to a charming full two-story home. The dining room features sliding french doors that open to the backyard patio, and a custom built in buffet in a recessed niche. The wall color in this room is Sherwin Williams SW 7669 Summit Gray. When this family moved to Lafayette, the objective was to create an inviting living space that combines a relaxed lifestyle with a few sleek elements to reference their past urban life in San Francisco. The color palette was influenced by the lush garden setting and the saturated colors of a summer garden.
