This shower enclosure utilizes all clips and no U-channel. A bead of silicone is used to tightly seal the spaces between the clips. The transom is used to ventilate the shower afterward.

This bar with its curves was an immense challenge. The client wanted a walnut finish which tends not to want to bend. So we took the measurements of the plexy glass and went back to our workshop and made it happen by laminating thin layers of thinly cut walnut together and shaping it perfectly to fit afterwards. The finished product was perfect with the bar top also being access panels to be able to clean the fish tank. Projects that challenge our team like this are our favorite.

Cooking and serving are easy in the beautiful outdoor kitchen island even when the daylight turns into evening. Afterwards, one can relax in the covered, lighted, raised seating area in the destination corner.

This modern farmhouse located outside of Spokane, Washington, creates a prominent focal point among the landscape of rolling plains. The composition of the home is dominated by three steep gable rooflines linked together by a central spine. This unique design evokes a sense of expansion and contraction from one space to the next. Vertical cedar siding, poured concrete, and zinc gray metal elements clad the modern farmhouse, which, combined with a shop that has the aesthetic of a weathered barn, creates a sense of modernity that remains rooted to the surrounding environment. The Glo double pane A5 Series windows and doors were selected for the project because of their sleek, modern aesthetic and advanced thermal technology over traditional aluminum windows. High performance spacers, low iron glass, larger continuous thermal breaks, and multiple air seals allows the A5 Series to deliver high performance values and cost effective durability while remaining a sophisticated and stylish design choice. Strategically placed operable windows paired with large expanses of fixed picture windows provide natural ventilation and a visual connection to the outdoors.

The Dashed Lights are studiously developed by Dutch designer Léon de Lange for the Vij5 collection. The lamps are designed to be laser cut from a thin stainless steel plate and folded afterwards by hand into a three dimensional shape using the ‘dashed line’ (a dotted line which is widely used in design processes). Small pop rivets are used at the corner points to make sure everything stays fixed into place. Afterwards the art pulled things together. The turquoise fabric which was the star of the room also had shades of sage green and purple. The purple is repeated not only in the chairs, but is also found in the glaze on the raku pot, in the mixed media collage on the wall, and in the collage work in the adjacent hallway. Linda H.
