For this beautiful kitchen remodel the homeowners wanted a better layout of the kitchen. We rearranged a few cabinets and closed off a wall to the dining room and added a new opening into the kitchen from the hallway. We refaced the existing cabinets with a Walzcraft Shaker 2 ½ Stiles and Rails door. The island was done in Alder in a custom stain while the rest of the kitchen was done in Maple in Pearl. We also added a custom appliance garage in one corner. We then installed a Granite countertop in African Rainbow and a Picket Fence Marble backsplash. With added lighting, installation of new lighting fixtures, ceiling clad with shiplap and the contrasting crown, this kitchen got a huge transformation.

For this rustic alder kitchen we built raised panel standard doors and slab drawers with ogee edging for all the cabinets. The kitchen is splendid with knotty alder custom cabinets, handmade peeled bark legs were crafted to support the chiseled edge granite. A hammered copper farm sink compliments the custom copper range hood while the slate backsplash adds color. Barstools from Old Hickory, also with peeled bark frames are upholstered in a casual red and gold fabric back with brown leather seats. A baking station creates a dedicated area in the kitchen for sifting, mixing, rolling and cutting. It keeps all of your supplies close at hand and prevents the cookie- or cake-making from intruding on the rest of the kitchen activity. With all of the mixing bowls, egg shells and flour spills in one place, cleanup is quick and easy.

This kitchen features a TV/Microwave messaging center for quick meals on the run and then a wall appliance garage that opens up to store small appliances. Also included are a bar area to keep the relaxing-with-a-drink crowd out of the way of the cooks in the kitchen.

This kitchen had the old laundry room in the corner and there was no pantry. We converted the old laundry into a pantry/laundry combination. The hand carved travertine farm sink is the focal point of this beautiful new kitchen. Notice the clean backsplash with no electrical outlets. All of the electrical outlets, switches and lights are under the cabinets leaving the uninterrupted backslash. The rope lighting on top of the cabinets adds a nice ambiance or night light.
