Inspiration for a timeless bathroom remodel in Charlotte

The custom wine racks we utilized were crafted from mahogany; a sturdy wood, with minimum odor and a beautiful hue. As pictured in the wine cellar renderings, X-bin and individual bottle wine racks comprise a great deal of this storage space. A horizontal display rack can also be seen, to the bottom left. The complete renovation of this existing single-family home took the existing structure down to the studs. The addition of a new wood-clad box and cantilevered roof mark the entrance. Smooth stucco, large-format tile, a standing-seam metal roof and black aluminum windows and doors complete the material palette. The challenge of a receding ground plane at the rear of the house is met with a stadium-seating style deck which graciously engages with the large back yard.

We are extremely excited to present this Rustic Hickory in a black glaze matte from Bertch. The rustic feel of the cabinets fit amazingly well in this older farm home. It was this homeowner's lucky day as soon after install, the Formica laminate tops in Slate Sequoia were discontinued. They compliment the tones of the cabinets better than anything we could imagine. Stainless steel appliances are in good company with the integral Karran 60/40 bowl sink. This all goes well with the bronze tones in the rest of the metal elements of the kitchen. Gracefully holding all of this up is Mannington Adura Max Apex Hilltop luxury vinyl plants in Cliffside. The installers worked with the customer to run the planks in a perpendicular pattern where two rooms came together.

This beautiful close up shows the strength of the cement fiber boards and their resemblance to wood. Although pricy, this siding shake option makes a large statement where ever it is.

My art itself and my chosen medium, aluminum, are blissfully married.
