This dazzling custom pavilion quite literally sparkles with its combination of string lighting, bell pendants, step lighting, and painted tongue and groove ceiling with recessed lighting. Not to mention the glow from the gas fireplace with cut glass beads! The gabled pavilion with wrapped collar ties, covers an outdoor kitchen and bar as well as a lounge area with outdoor sectional, all weather TV and surround sound speakers. If the gas fireplace isn’t enough to keep you cozy, there are multiple ceiling mounted heaters perfectly positioned to warm every seat in the house. The combination of charcoal and ivory pavers create a beautiful patio with inlaid patterns to accentuate the form. A towering brick chimney and horizontal wood partitions bring some warmth to the pallet. Emerald green arborvitae surround the property providing beauty and privacy.

Design ideas for a traditional privacy and full sun side yard landscaping in DC Metro.

Initially devoid of a front garden, the space featured only a century-old arborvitae hedge on a sloped bed. Our transformation included the construction of a retaining wall with elegant columns, displaying a curated collection of handmade pots. A new hedge was introduced, housing Mediterranean trees like olive, bay, and guava. The courtyard and gravel garden bed, layered with decomposed granite, minimize mud accumulation. The addition of lighting and irrigation ensures both aesthetic appeal and the garden's overall health, creating a simple yet captivating oasis for the family and their neighbors to enjoy.
