Cerused white oak paneling adorns the walls in this cozy library that is centered around carved marble fireplace surround and dramatic art deco scones, negotiating the need for extraneous art. The library overlooks the city and the clients wrap around terrace that is custom landscaped in beautiful boxwoods and limestone.

This bathroom remodel uses the original pedestal sink and rounded corner tub. Seafoam colors were chosen to give the feeling of diving into refreshing water. Recycled bottle glass tile trim, crackle glaze ceramic subway tile walls and marble floor are a cool compliment to this Art Deco Marble ceiling light.Photo: Eric Staudenmeier

The main dining area is surrounded by venetian plaster. One wall holds an antique decorative smoky paneled mirror with flanking niches in gold leaf with antique Art Deco table lamps. An Art Deco chinese rug houses the Macassar dining table with the suede leather matching chairs. A rare bauhaus silver tea sets rests on the dining table. The room is lighted by an antique Petitot Deco chandelier in brass and glass.

This polished dining room keeps sleek lines in play, while still feeling warm and welcoming. The custom-designed zebra-print host chairs take center stage, and play beautifully with the rich teal silk curtains. The art deco lines of the table maintain the air of luxury in a clean, crisp way.
